    LAND OF THE LOST (PG)
    To kick this thread off, I took my 12 year old son and 10 year old daughter to see Will Ferrell's "Land of the Lost" today.

    We really enjoyed the movie and laughed throughout.

      We watched a DVD a few weeks back called Burn After Reading

      Starring Brad Pitt and George Clooney plus a few other fairly well known actors it stunk. Should have been called Burn After Watching. :lol: :lol:

          I know its old now (2007) but most of my movie watching friends missed it first time round.
          I dont know if it hit the big screen or not.
          But its "NEXT", with Nicholas Cage, Jessica Biel.

              Saw that movie called Traitor with Guy Pearce the other day.
              Excellent story line, great suspense he whole way through it.

                Just working through the DVD series of the Long Way Round. Watched The Long Way Day before this but had seen Long Way Round when it was on SEXBS. I reckon this is a great series. Love it. :mrgreen:

                  Saw Terminator Salvation the other day - if you are an avid fan, you might be a bit shitty at the lack of new scenes as soooo many are taken from T1 and T2. There is also a massive plot hole but who's complaining... Anyway, was worth a watch I reckon.

                      Saw "Death Race" on DVD the other night. Very simple story line with straigtforward action. Great car racing battles with added chainguns in a kind of Mad Max way. Surprisingly decent movie... probably not for the ladies though.

                      I give it. :P :P :P

                      Saw "Underworld: Rise Of The Lycans". Disappointing. Very dark (as in lighting). Hard to see what's going on in a lot of the action scenes. Character development is also lacking for the characters you haven't met before. Story is pretty thin and not really explained enough. Not a patch on the first one.

                        Just seen the Hangover at the movies on the weekend
                        good movie, jumps all over the place a few times,
                        was definately a good laugh though (esp Mr Chow)

                          We saw "The Proposal" on Sunday with a group of friends...all the girls were keen to see it, and the boys were quite ho-hum about having to see what they thought was a chick flick. All the guys ended up really enjoying it, and we all had a good laugh.

                              Clint Eastwood in Gran Torino was fantastic. Well worth the watch :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :mrgreen:
                              I agree with pradogxlv6 on Benjamin Button. Loved it.
                              Disagree with MDS69 on Burn After Reading. That was one funny movie and no doubt Brad Pitt can act when you see the diverse roles he plays (Babyl was another good movie he was in)
                              One I was expecting to be fair considering the hype was The Dark Night. Go for a drive in a Hyundai Getz, it's more fun. :evil: :evil: :evil: :evil:
