G'day All,
Two questions for those in the know relating to 2009 150 series Prado turbo diesel (Kakadu):
We're going outback next week and currently collecting essential spares for the trip. I note there's a fuel filter underbody - should I take a spare one of these (in addition to an under bonnet filter) and if so can some one please advise how to release the hoses from the filter body. There are red/orange tags that look like a cover of sorts to access the hose clamps - do you lever them open or what!?
Further, I have read that radiator hoses are difficult to come by (having to be imported). I went to Repco (here in Orange, NSW) and they have ordered both top and bottom hoses to be delivered tomorrow morning.
Cheers
Simon
