Exhausting all other avenues I have turned to PP for help, I just had fitted an airtec snorkel on Friday to my new VX, have noticed that it does not have any "drain holes" for any water / rain drops that would enter the snorkel head when driving in rain.
Taking a punt others have the same snorkel fitted to their 150 ... should I be concerned???
Not being mechanical except for the basics and what I learn from here, but knowing that water into the air intake is not a good idea, I read over carefully this site and the TJM info sheets before fitting a snorkel, with TJM info stating:
"Even when it rains the TJM Airtec design captures and disperses rain drops through drain holes at the base of the air ram. This feature removes excess rain from mixing with the air stream and preventing water intake during heavy rain"
am I missing something??
thanks in advance
