Hey All,
I have a few questions regarding the rear work lamp install:
The lamp itself is 35W so 3A. I'm planning to install a switch on the right hand side of the steering wheel near where the side mirror adjustment switch is and where my driving switch and ARB compressor switches are.
When you installed your lamp, did you bother with relays? Surely 3A or less 4mm copper can handle over 5m without voltage drop?
Did you wire it straight to the battery or sourced the power from something else? (not sure what has constant 12V around the area where I’m planning on installing the switch)
I’m guessing you did have some sort of connectors near the lamp/bracket in case you wanted to take it off?
Where did you earth the lamp? Is there somewhere on the rear door to attach the –ve cable to?
