I'm looking at getting a new Supercharge Allrounder MRV70 (to replace the same battery) as my auxillery battery for an upcoming trip.
I'm thinking of using the current Allrounder MRV70 that is installed as a replacement for my starter battery. The MRV70 works great as an auxillery battery, but I don't know if it would work as well as the main starter, being a calcium/calcium battery, even though Supercharge have indicated there won't be any problems.
Can anybody advise if they use one of these batteries as their starter battery or if they could forsee any problems, specifically in relation to fully charging the battery. I do regularly maintain the batteries using an 8-stage charger if that makes any difference.
Many thanks!
