Hi,
ive did a search and couldnt find anything about this, a couple of days ago i started to hear a rattling noise coming from the passenger side of the car, unsure what it was i popped the bonnet and had a look at the aftermarket stanadyne fuel filter i had fitted about 6 months ago and to my surprise found the bolts that have been attached to the engine bay have started to crack part of the engine bay away and its getting to the point its about to break off. Its not like i can just drill and tap a few more holes as room is very limited. Just wondering if anyone else had this problem and what they did. Im thinking its a pretty dodgy install and am probably gonna have to take it off before it breaks off and causes other problems. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
