Battery warning light blinking and check engine

Hi there,
i have a VX 2007 prado (120), engine not modified, the can is just lifted up with Old Emu lift kit 2.5"

Yesterday night the warning light of the battery starts to blink every now and then, sometimes it stays on for a second or less, max it stayed for about 3 seconds…
Last week I had some engine bearings replaced and the electric dynamo cleaned up from in and out so it had to be removed to do the work on, any idea what could be the problem?

I also have a small problem with the Hl and Hh 4x4 transmission, when I have it on the low gear and drive on sand it suddenly gammed and put the canon neutral gear even though the main gear is on D,3,2 or L, to fix that "temporarily" I have to put the transmission on N, Hand breaks up and accelerate till the RPM reached the max and start shaking so the gearbox shakes and then the 4x4 gear will be able to move!!
Personally guess is that the bullets moves out of place that the gear stuck and gam till it shakes and everything goes back to its normal place, some guys who are more experienced with cars and their problems says that its probably electrical problems, so we checked the fuses and it showed that some need to be cleaned or replaced,,, when I started the can a check engine warning lighted up!!

The check engine got fixed but the battery warning light still blinking every now and then
Do u think it would be the dynamo or something else??

I would suspect the Alternator. Possibly the diode in it is dying.

i was so busy for a while after posting this thread and didn't have time to pass by a garage to check the problem, so i lived with it for about 10 days and during that time more electric problems appears such as (engine cut off while driving and works again with ABS and Hand break lights on, full light on while emergency breaks!, battery light keeps flashing in crazy way!, when the car is on P and the engine is ON i feel electric vibrates at the lights specially if the radio and/or the AC on, ... )

i replaced the dynamo charger with other (used but much cleaner than mine specially that mine had rust in some spots!) and every thing related to is seems working perfectly.

still have to check the 4x4 Low transmission if this issue (electric problem) was the case that it keeps disconnecting and jam!

Your alternator was probably full of sand and not putting out enough charge, not enough electrons makes all the electrical bits unhappy.

well.. if it was just "sand" i would be happy :hehe:

it was filled up with sand.. oil (dont know from where) and rust "corrosion"

Friday i tested the Hl and Ll 4WD transmission on easy track for few minutes and if was working well.. i need real test before winter is over here!
