  • ScanGaugeII and monitoring the TPS for fuel Economy ???

    Guys.....

I read on another forum that by monitoring your TPS (Throttle Position Sensor) via your Scangauge II that you can improve your economy.... unfortunately they didn't really go much more into it, so I was hoping someone on here might be able to enlighten me as to whether this might be correct or not......
I assume the higher the reading means more u have your foot planted to the floor and the more fuel u are going to use...... but if u use the gears more and keep your TPS at the same position or less that this one way of getting better economy.... not sure if this is correct or not ???
