Tail lights on my bumper???

Hey There,

Wifey was driving out the other night and I noticed that the bottom tail lights do not work as tail lights or brake lights, just dead, is this normal? Are they just reflectors? Sounds dumb I know...the photo shows lights on, when brakes are applied the back window brake light and the two side lights illuminate but the bottom 2 do nothing at all.

This seems wrong to me, there is also a coupla plugs under each side that look like they should connect to them, though at the back of the supposed light the rubber fittings do not have holes in them...

I have the same set up on my Grande Lenny. The plug is in the same place as yours and the rear of the Fog lights are blanks with no actual fitting for the lamps

They're meant for rear fog lamps on overseas models.

On European models they are rear fog lights. The wiring loom is fitted as standard but for the Oz market they only fit reflectors and the loom is left unconnected. You can buy the fog lights (aftermarket on ebay) but not sure if they are legal in Oz.

Ahhh ok, that all makes sense...still doesn't look right at night though. Thanks for the link on that one AMTS, and your airbag spacers went in beautifully and I swear the car corners better now. Took it out for bash last weekend and all went well, cheers.

the model's we have here at the GCC countries (UAE, Kuwait, Saudi, Qatar, Bahrain and Oman) they fog lights are not connected and there is no wire to there even... usually we take the car to electrical specialist and tell him to connect the lights as we request for who want to..
