  • Mobile deepfreeze with inverter 12v to 230v

    does anyone know if it should be a problem to connect an inverter for my mobile deepfreeze (65W acpower) in the trunk cigarettelighter ?

    what is the input current rating of the inverter? Need a little more info!

      it's 12v 300W inverter but the freezer only takes 65w at 230V

      the manual says 35a input current voltage 10_15v dc

      it's a hq-inv300wu12F inverter

        Given that the accessories sockets are rated at 120W or max 10A you may struggle. So long as the circuits are adequately protected there would be no harm in trying... The other consideration is that the sockets are only live when the ignition is on, so you wont have constant operation of your deepfreeze...

        Always better to provide equipment with correctly rated supplies for best operation.
