  • 7" 55W HID euro and spot beam driving lights

I decided that I want to go to HID driving lights without paying an arm and a leg so I got some of these. I got 2 euro and 2 spot beams to try out. These are the pair of eurobeams.

A quick test in the driveway to check that it works. Yep, very bright and white.

I had a bit of trouble mounting them to the sovereign bar as it already had existing holes and the back of the lights came in contact with the grill when you open the bonnet. So I had to elongate the mounting hole further forward. I quite like the fact that these lights don't protrude further forward than the bullbar. The old Roo-lite 180XP did.

I found a dark paddock nearby to test them out and they are brilliant but I don't have other HIDs to compare with. I didn't have a proper camera too to take shots in manual settings. I'll be giving it a test on some windy roads this weekend.

We sell those lights at work along side the full lightforce range plus great white led light bars. We have sold hundreds of them, they are on all of our service vehicles (5). Brilliant light output and can't beat the price.

Just spent the weekend down at Goolwa and for the Adelaidians, I took the turn off just past Mt Compass to head down to Goolwa. The lights were awesome on the windy roads. Didn't take any photos while driving but here are some shots from the local paddock. Both lights are Euro beams.

I have got IPF Extremes 2 spread and 2 spot (1 spot not working atm) with hid upgrades. The first two photos are spotties off then on and the third is the main reason for needing good lighting. On the main road back to community there is one reflective sign where from first seeing the reflection to passing it was 1km. I have got the spreads angled outwards slightly as well

                Looks good, lgp.

Out of interest, how did you mount them on the top bar?

I'm looking to do the same with some Lightforce XGT's

There are quite a number of sellers on ebay. I was looking at getting a bunch in from the exporter if anyone is interested. They're about $85 ea.

They have got to be one of my best buys for the Prado. I am seriously impressed with its performance for the money. The quality is pretty good too.

How many do you think I can fit across the top tube of the bullbar? haha.

But seriously, that really is a bargain.

                              Will do. What beam do you need? Euro or spot? They also do 4" (35W & 55W), 7" (35W & 55W) and 9" (35W, 55W & 70W).

7" was the biggest I could fit on the Sovereign bar and I'm looking to put a 3rd one in the middle. These lights are best on ARB type bars as the rear is quite long for the ballast and the ARB type bars have a large flat area to accommodate these.
