Hi all,
I have a 2008 D4D VX. Great machine. My CB radio is mounted in an overhead console and I have it wired to my auxiliary battery. All works well but I am forever leaving it on. Haven't flattened the battery yet but every time I leave it on I make a mental note to install a relay into the circuit that will turn power of if the ignition is not on.
Can anyone help with the colour coding of the wire loom that runs in front of the inside fuse compartment. I need a 12V supply that is only alive when the ignition is on so that I can tap into it for a relay . Alternatively, is there an accessible wire within the engine compartment to do the same thing.
Would rather do it that way than have to remove dash components to access the cigarette lighter 12V supply.
Thanks in anticipation. Hope some one can help.
