Just put one in myn last week from Battery World, 760cc, $229 supply and fit, this is to suit my 05 GXL petrol. It was the biggest I could get in the spot. Im actually going to move it over a tad towards the guard more as its extremely close to the aircon pipe and worried any ruts, vibrations may be to close to the pipe. But can definately tell the difference turning over, super quick. The old one was the original (panasonic) so was 7 years old, my last two prados batteries were over 8 so bloody good battery. I even enquired about trying the buy one of them again as these newer ones from here in Aus only seem to be good for average 3 years. Just changed the wifes to. Hers was 6 years old (toyota) just replaced this with an NRMA battery (bigger one as well). Definately not getting any weird noises from either due to bigger cca's. My prado was only cranking 180 when he checked it......Cheers SteveFace lift 150 Prado V6 auto. No mods yet

there is no issue with the larger capacity battery, the wierd spinning is the starter motor.
the solenoid pushes the gear towards your flywheel to engage and then can turn the motor to get it started.
One of the coils in the starter motor assembly is crook
Happy travelsBitumen is boring, at least it can get you to the next off road adventure
