Ok guys, while holding back your laughter, what is the story with pulling apart the factory toyota 7pin round trailer plug?
I went to relocate the plug from the usual mounting spot hanging under the bumper bar to in the bar cover itself, so needed to separate the face of the plug and its main body to slip it through the back of the bracket and then pass through the back of the bar. I pulled the insulation tape off the back, slid the rubber cover away from the back of the plug body and there is no nut holding two halves together - it looks like one moulded piece. So I undo the small screw on the side of the plug which appears like a grub screw and start pulling on the end of the plug but the inside section wont come out!
How do you pull this thing apart??
Cheers....(retreats to house a beaten man)
