I have been under the bonnet fitting a few accessories (spot lights, UHF etc) the past few days and have just noticed something that I have a bit of a concern about...... there is a very light coloured/off white slight powdery build up on the injection lines where then screw into the Head/rocker cover. Is this common?? I cant say that it has just appeared, or if it has been there all along and I have just noticed it. Anyone else out there have this on their vehicle??

flyology, you had me curious so I've had a look at mine and yep, I've got it too. It's actually a bit worse on mine. I've done 37,000k's whether that's relevant or not?
Mine's going in for the auto trans software upgrade on Friday to get rid of the horrid flat spot. I'll be trying to find someone in the service dept who's older than 12 to see if they can shed some light on it.Jim
