  • Dual Battery Monitor

I am trying to source a quality dual battery monitor. Ideally it would fit in the square slot as shown below but this is not critical.

Prefer digital or led type but again not critical.

Its the square behind the tilt lever

Thanks so far. May use one of the Bain ones if no better options. Noobie, do you have a picture of the ARB one?

Would be nice if there was a fully integrated aftermarket device that could aggregate all types of inputs and display on the one device. If Scangauge or something similar could measure battery voltage for both main and secondary for example, this would alleviate having all sorts of boxes for specific needs. Anyways I have the Pirahna unit.

                  cheers

Dave, just for the record you were asked if the excess wire was required. As you know your response was No. As you also know from the many court appearances and counsellors, no MEANS no. So we cut. Discovering a hidden monitor hidden behind your fuse box does NOT constitute prior knowledge of the existence of a monitor that you NOW want t display.

Now don't make me call Matty to the witness box as a witness.

The prices make no sense at all. Basic circuitry, plastic front, 4 wires for s dual monitor set up and a crystal display. Production cost would be under $20. Mark up 100% and allow for transport gives a max price of $50

As I recall it Dave, you were in a hurry to leave... Something about Lorna wanting you home to do the dishes and washing I think, so you just wanted us to finish the job and hurry up... Hence the cut...

Absolutely agree. Last I checked the piranha version goes for something like $135.

nope its too big. initially i struggled trying to find somewhere to put the abr one as it cant be in direct sunlight or you cant read it - the screen goes black!

i ended up fitting it to the far LHS down below ashtray area. i simply screwed it to a piece of aluminium that i bent into a U and forced it over the back of the vertical plastic area below ashtray

the only bit i hate about it is the orange light is on when they link while you drive which seems to be always ??? can be annoying/distracting at night as its really bright. it was another reason why i put it down low. great service from derek tho at abr
