I had a mate staying at our place over the long weekend while we were away in the Otways and on Saturday night someone managed to steal his driving lights.
He was parked with the bull bar 6" from a fence and they managed to unbolt the lights, cut the wires and get away without being disturbed. His son was sleeping in the room next to the car, less than 10' away so they must have known what they are doing.
My theory is they have spotted the vehicle and the lights at a local hockey carnival they were attending and followed them home and then did the job later that night.
Its not a flash 4x4 with lots of gear on it and you could not see the lights from the street at all, so its not someone walking or driving past that just happened to notice them.
So what method do you use to stop these low-lifes knocking lights off of the bull bar?
