Has anyone put these on a Prado with good results. I have used them on other cars before but not on a 4x4. They have a 2.5 inch pipe V's 3 inch...

    Tips anyone??

    Cheers

    Redback? No!

I run a 3" Pacemaker system on my diesel 120.
Just did Googs Track and not a rattle just a deep growl going up the sand hills.
Have just organised tony62 to get one fitted. Heard no feed back so all must be good

hi, ive just had the red back 2.5 inch straight through fitted to my 05 ikz,
i have noticed not a huge difference but can hear and feel the turbo come in alot earlier now ,
around just over 1000 revs as opposed to 16 to 1800.
now i can go up alot of the hills in my area in third gear quite easily as well.
ive heard off a few people now that patrol owners who have
had 3 inch pipes fitted are actually getting less power ?????
      can anyone verify this ?

      cheers marty

Nick did you have the 2 mufflers etc or modify the setup. I am thinking just 1 muffler on a 3" Manta system but need some feedback on what others have included in their setup. Will also be doing the CHIPIT chip

          MLC

I have 1 muffler with a rear resonator.

The Pacemaker is made of mild stainless steel. 3" all the way except no dump pipe.
A noticable increase in performance and a great note.
          Will PM you more details.

            Hey Marty,

            Cheers

I have a 2 and 3/4 inch mandrel bent system fitted by Liverpool exhaust on my 04 GXL, it revs out a bit better and has a bit of a growl out the back and cost quite a bit less than the manta system, just had the steinbauer fitted yesterday and its a lot better all over

well , i had the car pretty loaded with enough equipment for camping for four days in the hi country and i can say it went very well .
up and down the omeo highway it had much more pull and could leave it in fourth gear for most of it and even pass vehicles [with the use of a uhf of course]
so i reckon it was a pretty good upgrade for the money , much better to drive

                    redback exhaust

I also put the red back with my car. You'll definitely notice a huge difference with the performance of your car especially if you add an exhaust parts.

                      Hi All,

Well I ended up getting a Beaudesert 2 3/4 inch system on a special through 4wd action. Fitted on the weekend and very happy with the early improvements in driveability but will wait to see how we go on the open road/with a load.

                      Cheers

                        Hi Nigel

Do you know if this special is still available, been keen to get a Beaudesert exhaust for a while, a special may be the incentive I need.

                        Thanks

                          Hey Matt,
I dont know but I'm sure they are only a phone call away.

I am thrilled with the system....easy to fit....nice note with out being too loud....pulls like a school boy.....and best of all it was at the right price!!!

                          Cheers
