I've read through the suspension threads and I'm not sure that they answer a query I have. My stock standard Jan 99 GXL Prado has only done 125k and is in pretty good nick. The suspension, however, is getting a little shaky and seems to be in need of an overhaul. The vehicle has had a pretty easy life but did the Gibb River Rd a few years ago and got knocked around a bit on that.
Does anyone think that I should just replace worn parts from Toyota or perhaps a total replacement from an after market supplier? I also drag a trailer around with a couple of dirt bikes on it and that might alter your thinking.
I intend keeping the car for a few more years and I get up to the Flinders a few times a year so any help you can offer will be appreciated.
