  • Vibration at IDLE - Passenger Side Dash

As above, has anyone else experienced this? I have it at the moment. I thought it may be coming from behind the dashboard (airbag module), but am not sure. Nothing I touch seems to stop it.

I left it with Toyota at the first service but they didn't seem to be able to find it. I think it only occurs once the car is warm, for whatever reason.

    Thanks.

Could be the plastic under the windscreen wipers. If you havn't already, have a read of the 1500RPM vibration thread.

Dont pull out the glovebox! It's the engine wiring loom where it is attached to the firewall. Unbolt it and mount it on rubber grommets. The loom vibrates with the engine and transmits this into the cabin.

Thanks to all for the replies! I've already investigated the 1500RPM thread and it's not the same problem, but I will have a look at the wiring loom next time I head out. As you say it is only when warm.

I'll post any new info as it comes to hand.

            Cheers!
