Hello,
my name is Dirk and I live in Belgium (so, I'm sorry for my English). I'm proud owner of a Toy LC 120. It has already been modified for a few things (interior LED, blue LEDstrip inside, entertainmentsystem with iPod connection, LED outside, LED flashers outsides, angeleyes,...). Now I have ordered a new headunit (touchscreen, gps, bluetooth,...) to replace/update the standard radio with 6cd-player.
Normally it's plug and play but I found out that my LC120 also had an external amplifier under the driver's seat (on the left side) and that there is a subwoofer in the back (on the right side in the trunk), so: no plug 'n play.
The problem is that connectors don't fit and I'm searching for a scheme or a right adapter/connector. The head unit has the number 86120-60510 and is actually a Pioneer unit p3914. It has 3 connectors on the back, one, the smallest, is for the iPod. The amplifier (86280-60291) is also from Pioneer (with a Toyotalabel) and has the typenumber gm8027zt. That one has 2 connectors.
I've got several wiring diagrams from my dealer but the colors of the wires are not the same as in my car. Search on the internet: 'no diagrams for that part'
I've already ask my question on the local forum but with no succes. Apparentely, it's a rare option in Belgium/Europe (?).
So I want to ask if anyone has a solution for my problem: I want to know which wire is for the ground, the speakers, line-out,... on the back of my radio and/or amplifier.
thx
Dirk
