  • Ironman suspension has dropped...

Hmm, been looking at the car recently, thinking it didn't look quite as high as it used to.

    Originally, before lift it was:

    FL: 689
    FR: 687
    RL: 740
    RR: 740

    After lift:

    FL: 740
    FR: 741
    RL: 798
    RR: 805

    And now:

    FL: 715
    FR: 710
    RL: 740
    RR: 745

Now I've had this in for just under 2 years (2 year warranty) and 20,000km and will be going in this week to speak to them. Here's hoping they're willing to help because in my opinion that's not acceptable! Front has dropped 25-30mm and rear has dropped 60mm!!! A small amount of the rear will be due to weight, but certainly no more than 20mm...

      Cheers.
Yeh if they don't fix it then they won't be getting any more business from me!

        Re: Ironman suspension has dropped...

        Gday
I have the Ironman suspension also. I have also had this issue but only after a year (only in the back)! Yep was a bit pissed myself but Ironman came to the party. The cause of the drop was the rating of the springs. They sent constant load springs for the front (which i wanted all round) and medium load spring (b-class I think) for the back.
Also have blown out the front shock rubbers on both sides twice (on same track a year apart). They replaced the rubbers the first time and the second they put in a new set of shocks (from there new supplier). No problems since. Imo Ironman is not top of the range (as in quality, performance) but for the price it is of a good quality and performance (If you Know what I mean) I suppose there is worse shocks out there but cost more money.
