I have noticed a small amount of coolant escaping from behind the rubber cap that is fitted to the short overflow pipe in the plastic coolant tank filler neck (just below the cap). The coolant runs around the lip of the tank and eventually drips down on the fan and is flung around on to various pipes nearby. I must stress that there is a VERY small amount escaping from time to time and is not noticeably affecting the level in the tank at all. I assume this is normal and just a bad design due to the fact that there is no rubber pipe fitted to the overflow just the rubber cap.
