Which lights to fit to ARB Deluxe bar?

Hi, seeing Im new to this forum a quick introduction, Im Andrew, recently bought an 07 Black D4D GXL, a wise Ebay buy saw me buy a black deluxe ARB bar which Ive promptly fitted myself leaving me with the next modification, Driving lights, I've always been a fan of Hellas, Lamp inserts and Rallye 4000's have been pretty popular in my shed.
Im sure ill be re-visiting a common thread but id like to ask what lights look best and other owners have found with them, im thinking at the moment the HID IPF 9000's may be the choice, Rallye 4000's dont look to fit within the bar, light force 240's may do the job as well, Im definately after HIDs
Also my Deluxe bar has the integrated lights with provision for the fog lights, just looking it will be a pretty easy fit, before I recieve an anal pilaging from ARB has anyone found an alternative lamp that fits?

HI Andrew,

I run a set of Lightforce XGT's converted to 55W HID with an aftermarket kit. All I can say is that it has converted quite a few people around town to go with them. Handy being able to change the beam with clip on filters rather than being stuck with a set beam like Rallye's.

depends on how old the ARb bar is the earlier version took ipf (I think) lights in the fog lights which of course will cause a rapid thinning of the wallet, however the newer bars have a different brand of light and cost approx.$80 in total with fitting kit. 8)
As to driving lights to remain legal the lights must stay within the frame of the bar and not protude outside, so most of the lights which are fitted on this site are not strictly legal but mainly for the "look" 8) :roll: it would appear. me I have el cheapo narva 175's which fit but would like to upgrade to the hid 225's.
