    Hi should be getting SX Prado in June > Do you still have to let them idle for while on the end of a journey
    to cool the turbo or is that a thing of the past ? Plus anyone else having a problem with them extending the delivery date ? regards drecked

    from what i have heard this goes for all turbo diesels, if you r just driving around town, doing your 60kmh and poking along it is ok just to pull up and turn it off because ya turbo is not working as hard, as for towing and freeway/highway driving eg 100kmh or going to fill up at servo, let it idle for a few min to allow the turbo to wind down, eg it still has oil presssure to lubricate turbo bearings while winding down, if ya turn it off, no oil pressure hence bearinf more prone to damage, if i, wrong anyone correct me or back me up if im half right :wink: cheers samo
