Hi Guys
I have tried search for any forum that could lead me to something like DIY cruise control in my 04 Prado TX but sadly couldn't find anything around. In my country Toyota Fortuner is very popular car same as Prado in Australia and there are group of people who have introduced DIY cruise control in the Fortuner.

The interesting point here is that Toyota Fortuner is very similar to Toyota Prado in many ways and share the same engine D4D 1KD-FTV. This makes me think that if it is possible to DIY cruise control in Fortuner then why not Prado while it is sharing the same engine? However, in my country there are very very very few people who use Toyota Prado because the price of Prado in Thailand is around 115,300 Australian Dollars while the price of Fortuner is only 45,700 Australian Dollars. With this issue whenever I took my Prado to any workshop and asked them to make a try of installing cruise control everyone just decline to do so because they are not sure if they could make it or destroy it. :?
Finally, this is the last place I could think about. The link I provided above is in Thai language but if any of you want to make a try just let me know I would be very appreciate to translate them for you and if it turn out successful then don't forget to share with us.
