Help, please, folks,
Have done a quick search and don't seem to be able to find anything on this - so apologies if I've missed something, but I'm pretty desperate ...
We put on a 40mm body-lift on the 120 this weekend (details to follow later) but have run into a snag... There seems to be (after fitting the steering rag-joint spacer) a 'ticking' sound coming from under the horn-pad on the steering wheel, and I no longer have any cruise-control or hooter, and the air-bag warning light stays on permanently... We did (wrongly, I believe, in hindsight) turn the steering wheel through 360 degrees after it was disconnected from the steering shaft, resulting in an issue with the ABS / VSC (yaw sensors) which 30 minutes of no batteries cured ..
The light and wiper controls work fine.
I suspect we've torn / disconnected something under there, but we ran out of time and daylight to have a proper look. I can find nothing about a fuse or relay in the fuse boxes or owners manual...
Can anyone shed any light on what we may have done, or what we can look at to rectify the problem? The trck is basically U/S until I can get that sorted ... :?
On a positive note, the 120 looks fab on the steroids - can't wait to finish off with a suspension lift now, to give me about 80mm lift in total
Cheers,
Gary
