anyone know how the front reading lights work? They have stopped coming on when I open the door (ive checked the switch is in the door position) first thought was bulbs but I can turn both of them on manually? second thought was door switch but the centre ones work fine

are there two bulbs? or likely to be a dodgy switch all of a sudden? It didnt stop when I touched it went from working to not without interaction!

It's on my list to check out tomorrow but figure someone here can save me some investigationing time!

I would take the panel off and check that the switch actually works first ... just in case it has shat itself.....

Had that happen on my calais once.

Can you please guide us on how to get at the globes, seems a bit tricky? :?:

good find old salt! didn't see that but grabbed onto the front by guess today and it popped off. figured being a Toyota most bits are just clipped in place and come off easy!

no issues with my bulbs so on to testing the switch somehow next.

Hey Matt, have you tried putting the switch into the "door" position and opening both doors, either individually or at the same time. There is a possibility that one door switch may have a bit of gunk in them inhibiting the internal switch contact.

i actually haven't.. ops: though my first thought was the switch on the door, i did flicker around with it when i first found the lights weren't coming on. there's some more testing for me to do tomorrow. can't be buggered going out now... too hot and the aircon is too good to leave!
