I have recently installed a dual battery system. I decided on the redarc isolator 1ooamp and noted on the installation instructions that a fuse should be installed before and after the isolator. As I used 4 b & s cables I found it hard to get an in line fuse so decided on a circuit breaker which I found at Jaycar. It is rated at 120 amp and has a digital read out of the voltage. As it was about $30 I decided on just one which I installed after the isolator/before the 2nd battery.
My problem is that the curcuit breaker seem to trip out regulary which stops the 2nd battery from charging.
Any thoughts to what I may have done wrong?
