  • Pulse PHN70 Deep Cycle gel batteries?

Does anyone have any experience with these?

I have pretty much decided on a Piranha dual battery set up with a voltage read out in dash, plus extra power point in the back, but still undecided on the battery itself.

I have a Trojan in the Mav and it's been great, it doesn't get treated nice and I have cranked off it. http://www.trojanbattery.com/

Thanks mate - yep, I've been looking at these too.

The bloke who is (most likely) going to do the install has quoted me for Supercharger Allrounder, but for some reason (irrational, perhaps... :-) ) I am leaning towards the Pulse. I have heard good things about Trojans too.

My main thing is to be able to run a fridge and some lights - i.e. deep cycle is more important than cranking. As a back up I always carry a jump starter with me in any case. Not that I've ever need it, but more a case of 'insurance'.
