  • 2inch lift for Colorado

    Hi,

I have a Colorado, not a prado, but please don't hold that against me.

I'm also in England which means that I'm considered to be more evil than the devil for owning a 4wd car. It rains a lot (in fact its raining right now) and its illegal to drive your car offroad pretty much most of the time.

So you can't begin to know how jealous I am of you guys with all that lovely space and weather.

I am trying to get some good advice on a suspension lift. Particularly do the work myself. I recently did poly air bags on the back suspension and am very pleased. It seems that apart from the top shock bolt the whole thing would be really easy on the back.

I expected the front to be tricky but now I've had a look it looks easy too. Am I missing someting? It looks to me like all you have to do is undo the three mounting bolts at the top, undo the bottom shock bolt and the strut will just come out. A bit of elbow grease with a spring compressor will see the job done. Won't it ?

SORRY if this has been asked before, I did look a little.

    THANKS LOADS ALL !!
