Hi All,
There are a couple of threads on Tekonsha Prodigy brake controller installation, but I have a specific question for those that have them installed in the ashtray.
Mine was installed today, and the fitter screwed it into the roof of the ashtray slot. On ariving home I reviewed the instrustions only to see that it was showing the "Installed with angle too low" lines. Well I have pulled the console apart tonight, and unscrewed it from the plastic ashtray sleeve, so I can just push it into the slot.
This appears to have fixed the mounting angle issue, as the display shows only a dot. As the change in angle is only slight from when it was screwed in, it appears that this does not leave much room for angle changes on hills (going up), which I would assume would show the "Installed too low angle". SO, has anyone encountered performance issues with it mounted in this spot??
Cheers,
Craig
