  • fog lights

just bought a set of fog lights off ebay.. thought I was on a winner, cheap set of lights! Unfortuanatly I found it wasn't as simple as expected. I then had to go and buy brackets to mount them in ($ 44 each) so now the lights were fitted!, turning them on was the next step.... had to buy a new indicator arm ($144 ) that had the fog light switch on it. Then, a relay was needed the choices were a toyota relay for $77 or a commodroe relay for $8 I went for the commodore one, I now have a working set of foglights!
So when thinking of getting a set of foglights just remember that it is more then just the lights.

well done to intall them with the genuine indicator stalk! i would have (and have always in the past with previous cars) taken the easy option and just put a switch on the kick panel!

Supercheap have a good wiring kit that comes with everything to put it all together including relay, switches and wires ready for plug and play which makes things a hell of a lot easier..

    end result looks good though!

      fog lights

The process for fitting the fog lights was quite easy, all the electrical lines exist so its a matter of connecting them to the accessors. The indicator took 5 screws to remove and then it slips out.
To get foglights in your car you just need those parts that were mention.

        Nice job Joracha

It's amazing how the smaller things (smaller compared to some of the other accessories available) can make a big difference to appearance.

I've got to find you a letter "L" to hang off the back door to change that GX to a GXL

        Cheers
